FundNow
For founders

The SLA, in full.

What we promise every applicant, how the clock runs, and when it pauses.

The SLA, defined · v1.3 · 20 October 2026
Receipt
The moment your documents land: an email confirming what arrived, your reference, and what happens next.
Screen
KAI’s screen result within 24 hours of your first documents, any day of the week, usually within two hours. The screen is automatic: if you are through, verification starts at once; if it is a no, you get KAI’s reasons and feedback, and you can reply within 14 days to have a person at FundNow review it.
Decision clock
Starts when your first documents arrive in your Virtual Data Room. A complete memo and KAI’s decision, with plain-language reasons, within 10 days. If it is a no, you can reply within 14 days to have a person at FundNow review it.
References
In writing, never by phone. The day you pass the screen, KAI writes to the references you name, at their work address, and asks them to confirm specific statements. They have 5 days to reply; a reference who does not reply is recorded as unconfirmed, and the decision is not delayed.
Clock-stops
The clock pauses, and the pause is disclosed to you, only while we wait on a document we have asked you to supply. Third parties never stop it.
Capacity
We take up to 20 applications a month. Beyond that, applications queue in order of receipt; the founder sees their queue position and the clock starts when they enter capacity.
Reporting
Performance against the clock is published quarterly, with clock-stops itemised, from the first quarter with ten or more applications. Nothing here is audited by a third party yet; an independent attestation is planned for year one and will be announced here when it exists, not before.
