KAI Management Ltd, trading as FundNow, a company registered in England & Wales, company no. 17205149, registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We are the controller of the personal data described below and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a fee payer (registration reference ZC237756). Contact: hello@fundnow.ai.
This website, its forms and FundNow's own systems run on Amazon Web Services (Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg) in its Europe (Ireland) region. Each form you send (an NDA signature, a data-room file, a reference's answers, an investor statement) goes straight to FundNow's systems there; the page is delivered worldwide through Amazon CloudFront. Our record of each application or statement (reference, company, name, email, the dates that matter, the list of files received, and its status) is kept there too, and your signed NDA or investor statement is filed there and emailed to you from our Microsoft 365 mailbox (hello@fundnow.ai), as are the receipts, reminders and notices about your application. KAI, our underwriting engine, runs in the same region. It opens your sealed files there, reads them with Anthropic Claude models served by Amazon Bedrock inside the European Union, and drafts its memo. Amazon does not use your content to train models or share it with the model provider, and KAI's working copy of your data room is deleted within 45 days. If you book a call with us after signing an investor statement, the booking calendar shown on this site is provided by Calendly, LLC (United States), which receives the name and email you give it and may set its own cookies; the call takes place on Microsoft Teams. Our email and document infrastructure is provided by Microsoft 365, with data hosted in Microsoft's UK/EU data-centre regions. If you later proceed to platform onboarding (identity and source-of-funds checks) or a transaction, that happens on regulated third-party platforms under their own privacy notices; nothing moves there from this website automatically. We do not otherwise disclose personal data unless required by law.
Where a service provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (the European Union, where KAI runs; the UK–US data bridge where a US recipient is certified) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum, as applicable. Your forms and data-room files stay in the European Union (Ireland); only a Calendly booking, if you make one, goes to the United States.
Early-access and interest-list data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and otherwise reviewed at least every 24 months. Correspondence connected to a transaction or legal obligation: up to 6 years, matching UK company record-keeping rules. Signed confidentiality agreements and their signature records: for the term of the agreement and 6 years after it ends. Data-room files and answers: held sealed in Amazon Web Services (Ireland); KAI's working copy is deleted within 45 days in any case; everything is deleted within 30 days if we decline the application or you withdraw it (we keep only the application record, our memo and our decision with reasons, as the NDA says); if we back the company, for the life of the investment and 6 years after. Investor statements: for their 12-month validity and 6 years after they expire, as evidence of compliance.
When your first documents arrive in the data room, KAI, our underwriting engine, screens the application automatically against our published criteria and sends the result within 24 hours. Applications that pass the screen are verified by KAI, including written references, and KAI then makes the decision, within 10 days. Both the screen and the decision are made without a person taking part. Before they are made you are told that they are automatic (here and in our published SLA); with each result you receive KAI’s reasons; and you can reply within 14 days to make representations, contest the decision and have a person at FundNow review it. The reviewer sees KAI’s memo and reasons, never your files. Before a yes goes to backers, FundNow’s syndicate lead can stop it for reasons outside KAI’s assessment (for example sanctions, conflicts of interest or the platform’s rules); every such override is recorded and its rate is published. KAI uses the application and documents you provide and the public record at Companies House, never special categories of personal data.
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under UK GDPR, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (which stops future processing based on it). To exercise any of them, email hello@fundnow.ai; we respond within one month.
Data-protection complaints route. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, email hello@fundnow.ai with the subject "Data protection complaint". We acknowledge complaints within 30 days, investigate, and tell you the outcome without undue delay.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, ICO helpline 0303 123 1113.
We will update this notice as FundNow's products (including the application process and the verification vault) launch; material changes are flagged on this page with a new "last updated" date.
